The 18-XRAY™ was the last new knife model developed by Camillus Knives before they closed. Designed by Darrel Ralph, the 18-XRAY™ had a new patend pend automatic locking system called the SAS™ "Speed Auto Safety", where you slide the push button forward and down, making this design one of the safest and easiest opening automatic knives ever developed.

The 18-XRAY™ model was slated to be released right at the time Camillus was closed. Industry field reports on this new model touted it as the BEST NEW AUTOMATIC by the once dominating brand. This knife design was immediately picked up by the innovative knife company, Meyerco, and is being sold as the 18-XRAY™. The model being offered here is a brand new production prototype.
